The West Texas Fair and Rodeo is one of the most memorable events in the state. The fair started back on September 8th and it runs until Saturday, September 17th. Believe it or not, the West Texas Fair and Rodeo has been happening for the past 117 years, making it one of the oldest in the country.

According to the Taylor County website, the fair is bound to have everything you’re looking for. This includes delicious food, such as fried delights, desserts, and more. Plus, there will be plenty of cool treats and beverages to combat the heat. Don’t fill up too much, though—the fair will also feature a variety of rides for both kids and adults.

Other events at the West Texas Fair and Rodeo include two rounds of a tractor pull. With some of the biggest power plants in the area, this loud event is sure to draw a massive crowd. Plus, there’s also an entire event of PRCA Rodeo, livestock, musicians, and more
