The Camaro Comes In a Convertible

The new Camaro ZL1 recently premiered at the New York International Auto Show, driving fans wild. This high-performance convertible is sleek and sporty, with a coupe design and improved aerodynamics. The new 2017 Camaro ZL1 design is unlike anything you have ever seen.

According to Chevy, the ZL1 comes with new looks, including a lower grille opening, a flow-tie insignia, new hood, heat extractor, and unique rockers. The interior comes standard with Recaro seating, with suede and ergonomic design. Best of all, this model comes with Chevy’s Performance Data Recorder as well.

“The Camaro ZL1 is designed to excel at everything,” said Mark Reuss, executive vice president of Global Product Development. “It’s a 2+2 coupe offering incredible performance – acceleration, handling and braking – with the highest levels of technology and perfect chassis damping, making it suitable for everyday driving. It will compare well to any sports coupe, at any price and in any setting.”

In addition to sleek styling, owners will find a powerful 6.2-liter V8 under the hood that is paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an available 10-speed. Other features include Magnetic Ride Control, an electronic limited-slip differential, and a Driver Mode Selector.
