Special 2015 Chevrolet Impala Midnight Edition Coming Soon

There’s nothing quite as menacing as a car with blacked-out features. You may remember at the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Chevrolet displayed an Impala Blackout concept. It seems the concept was so popular it was put on the fast track for production.

When speaking with Edmunds, Steve Majoros, marketing director for Chevrolet, said, “We are trying to get it (built) for this model year.” He added that the car could be available “maybe late this spring. We are calling it Midnight Edition.”

Impala Midnight Edition

The Impala Midnight Edition will be a blacked-out version of the 2015 Impala shown above.

Majoros described some of the features on the Impala and said it would have a blacked-out grilled, black bowtie in the center of the grille, and a unique steering wheel.

If the production model follows the concept version, we should also see a black grille surround and rear spoiler, 19-inch aluminum wheels, painted mirror caps, and of course, and all-black leather interior.

While most of these features are already available as Chevrolet accessories, having them put together for you in a complete ready-to-go package is even better.

Will you be waiting for the Chevrolet Impala Midnight Edition?
