The Camaro Watched The Cubs Win

The Chicago Cubs have had quite the triumphant year and Chevrolet knows it. That why Chevrolet wanted to reward the Cubs’ MVP with one of the best gifts you can get: an awesome new car.

Ben Zobrist was named the 2016 World Series Most Valuable Player after his killer performance on the field this year. Fans and a distinguished media panel agreed that he was a star hitter for the Cubs this year, and likely a big part in their championship title.

His performance inspired Chevy to create the following statement, “In this historic matchup, Zobrist’s performance on the field truly embodies the same ‘Never Give Up’ spring that drives the Chevrolet team to innovate every day and that has made us the Most Awarded Automotive Brand two years in a row,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Marketing.

That’s why Zobrist was not only given the 2016 MVP Award, but also a brand-new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 50th Anniversary Edition. It’s a convertible, which means that Zobrist can celebrate his win with the top down and breeze blowing (when it’s not winter in Chicago, of course).

If you want to feel like Zobrist, you can check out some jaw-dropping 2017 Chevrolet Camaro models for yourself at Hanner Chevrolet near Abilene, TX.
