Corvette Celebrates 70th Anniversary In Style

It’s been nearly seven decades since the Chevrolet Corvette has been in production, making it the longest-running nameplate in automotive history. As part of the celebrations for this incredible achievement, Chevy is launching a unique 70th Anniversary Edition package for the 2023 Corvette, which will be available at every trim level.

This special package mainly alters the sports car’s appearance with lots of tasteful red highlights. It has wheels with a dark finish and red perimeter stripes, two unique paint choices (white metallic pearl and satin black), optional racing stripes, red brake calipers, and an exclusive two-tone ceramic leather interior with red stitching and red seat belts.

It also adds suede microfiber seat inserts, and the seats themselves are either GT2s or Competition Sports, ensuring that driving enthusiasts have no reason to avoid the Corvette 70th Anniversary edition. Additionally, that microfiber material is found on the steering wheel, providing extra grip during spirited drives. And the final touch: the Corvette 70th Anniversary model gets a custom, matching red luggage set.

The Corvette might be 70 years old, but it’s as sprightly as ever. The current-generation Corvette Z06 uses a mid-mounted 5.5-liter V8 to crank out 670 horsepower and deliver absolute driving pleasure to anyone lucky enough to get behind the wheel. Get a taste for it yourself with a test drive at Hanner Chevrolet in Baird, Texas.
